**The Department of Natural Resources, Support Services Division****,** **is recruiting for an Accountant 3 in Anchorage.** **This position is open to Alaska Residents only.** Please check our residency definition to determine if you qualify. **What You Will Be Doing:** The Accountant 3 oversees both travel and expense and the accounts payable processing for DNR, performing the following duties: * Performs supervisory and management functions, including workforce development, operational planning, policy development, data analysis, and program coordination. * Develops, manages, and is accountable for maintaining a high\-performance team meeting agreed\-upon service level targets and performance measures. * Serves as the subject matter expert for travel and expense as well as accounts payable processes while applying advanced accounting knowledge. * Audits and certifies documents for compliance with the AAM, CBU, and standard operating procedures. * Analyzes transactions and processes, identifies discrepancies, develops improved methods, and implements solutions. * Responsible for end\-of\-fiscal\-year activities. **Mission and Values/Culture:** The Support Services Division is a un...
