TOOL SHOP MANAGER JOB DUTIES * Make sure tool shop is available for the field from 5 am to 3:30 pm M\-F, weekends as coordinated prior. * Check email orders \& ticket system, update all paperwork in system * Work with vendors to get tools and items needed. Work to get best possible pricing. * Manage tool shop crew to insure we are providing the best support to the field * Help maintain budgets in the warehouse * Review all tickets with crew go over all items going on and if anyone needs help let them know all items being purchased * Review all quotes if assets get approval if consumables have PO issued * After getting approval on assets request PO be issued and request asset ids be created. * Look up tool locations for returns * Print out tool reports to look for tools get done in a week or less, update sheet * Update S/N PO and MOD on asset sheet * Go through all calibrated items keep logs * Move items to storage yard Get items from storage yard * Get items in for repair \& calibration find vendors for repairs \& calibration * Go through all calibrated items keep logs * Maintain strong relationships with Murphy Warehouse employees, Murphy Office and Field employees. * Make sure cr...
