Work Location Manteca, CA **Position Purpose** -------------------- Under minimal supervision, the Senior Accountant leads general ledger accounting activities, including the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards. This role evaluates financial reporting risks, researches and resolves accounting issues, and recommends solutions to accounting and business challenges. The Senior Accountant assists with audit support, prepares schedules and documentation, and responds to ad hoc requests within the general ledger function. The position is responsible for managing assigned accounting areas with limited oversight, exercising independent judgment, and making recommendations that influence financial reporting accuracy, internal controls, and operational effectiveness.
