Responsibilities: REPORTS TO: Director of Pharmacy SUMMARY STATEMENT \& PURPOSE The Pharmacist Intern in coordination with the Director of Pharmacy is responsible for understanding of all legal and accreditation/certification requirements and applicable facility policies, procedures, codes and standards. This includes pharmaceutical and professional functions relating to pharmaceutical care provided at this facility. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful, and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Hospital, as well as being a positive representative of INBH at all times. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** * Enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy Program. * Active Pharmacist Intern License * Must possess the experience to oversee the provision of medication requirements for the patient populations treated in this facility, including knowledge of dosage for age\-specific populations. * A working knowledge of Joint Commission Standards, OSHA regulations, and state and federal laws and regulatory requirements. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * A minimum of one year’s experience in a healthcare setting.
