Job Summary: The Safety Technician is responsible for upholding safe work performance, values and culture; helping to ensure safe production in support of company objectives. Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for serving as a subject matter expert for employees and contract partners regarding safety and compliance. * Responsible for working with site leaders and Safety Manager to ensure all employees are conducting their daily work in safe manner. * Responsible for training new employees and providing refresher training for existing employees regarding safe work practices and proactive identification of safety hazards. * Responsible for participating in /conducting daily crew safety briefings or meetings and inspections. * Perform site safety audits. * Responsible for wearing proper PPE at all times. * Other duties as assigned. Required Experience and Skills: * Minimum of three (3\) years of progressive responsibility in an industrial health and safety role required. * Strong familiarity with OSHA. * Ability to work well with others required. * Ability to communicate professionally in written and verbal form required. * Familiarity with Microsoft programs required. * Abili...
