**Posting Expires: 10/23/2026** **Salary Range: $68,156\.41 \- $90,988\.81** **General Description and Classification Standards:** Project Manager I (Engineering) is responsible for transportation engineering work involving project planning, development and design; coordinating construction, transportation/traffic and/or maintenance operations. Ensures compliance with applicable federal and state laws, policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines. Work involves regular contact with governmental officials, City staff, vendors, contractors, and the public, and private sector agencies. This position requires an experienced, professional capable of carrying out most assignments typical of the profession with limited guidance or review. This level would be considered a promotional level and attainable by any incumbents in a work group who demonstrate the necessary knowledge, ability, and performance.
