**Position Summary** -------------------- The **Assistant Manager** supports the Operations Manager in the daily operation of warehouse and delivery functions, with primary responsibility for inventory accuracy, receiving, delivery preparation, dispatch support, and day\-to\-day operational coordination. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** ----------------------------------------- The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: * Accurately complete data entry transactions in the accounting system to maintain and update * Conduct daily inventory counts of warehouse products and materials and maintain accurate inventory records. * Research inventory discrepancies, identify missing or incorrectly located product, and communicate findings to the Operations Manager. * Assist with maintaining accurate inventory locations and processing necessary inventory adjustments. * Identify and document damaged, missing, or incorrectly received product. * Support the safe and efficient unloading of inbound trucks. * Verify incoming product quantities and condition and identify shortages, overages, or damage. * Ensure received products are properly staged and placed in t...
