**Job Summary** --------------- Under general direction, is responsible for directing the activities and personnel engaged in street maintenance or repair, drainage and sidewalk construction, street cleaning, markings, installation or maintenance or traffic signs, river and ditch maintenance, and/or vegetation management. Work involves inspecting work and equipment, preparing reports and assigning work schedules. Working conditions are primarily outside with frequent exposure to temperature extremes, traffic construction dust; damp/wet surfaces, overhead power lines, animal/insect bites, high noise, oily surfaces, liquid asphalt and lime.
