**Job Summary** A Produce Food Safety Manager to oversee food safety compliance, quality assurance programs, and regulatory standards specifically for fresh fruit and vegetable growing, packing, Organics, or processing operations. **Job Overview** \- Role: Produce Food Safety Manager \- Industry: Agriculture / Fresh Produce / Food Processing \- Core Goal: Ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, and industry food safety mandates to protect public health and maintain continuous audit readiness. **Key Responsibilities** \- Regulatory Compliance: Implement and maintain programs aligned with the FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) Produce Safety Rule, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), SMETA/SEDEX Ethical Audit, Organic Certifiers (SCS Global and CCOF) and HACCP principles. \- Audit Management: Lead internal inspections and coordinate external audits for certifications such as PrimusGFS, SQF, Organic Certifiers or Global GAP. \- Sanitation \& Hygiene Oversight: Manage sanitation crews, sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs), and environmental monitoring programs (e.g., pathogen testing). \- Staff Training: Develop and deliver bilingua...
