**THE SCHOOL BOARD OF HIGHLANDS COUNTY** **POSITION TITLE: General Worker** **ASSIGNMENT: Daycare General Worker** **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** * High school diploma or equivalent * **Physical Requirements:** Ability to perform essential functions and tasks which may include exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds of force as frequently as necessary; lifting, crawling, kneeling, bending, stooping, pulling, and pushing, if required * Satisfactory clearance of a criminal history records check and drug screening **ADDITIONAL DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:** * If clerical duties are to be assigned, typing skills at 40 words per minute * Demonstrates skill in using materials, equipment and procedures associated with the performance of duties in the specific position **PRIMARY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Assists the Site Manager whenever necessary and fills in when Manager is absent * Plans and supervises indoor/outdoor activities for the children * Fills out accident/incident reports * Takes roll call * Notifies Site Manager about serious discipline problems * Notifies Site Manager when equipment or materials are needed * CPR and Red Cross Certification should ...
