Regional Resource Nurse – Proficiency in IV Insertion and Wound Assessment Required! Position Summary The Regional Resource Nurse serves as a hands\-on clinical resource supporting approximately 3\-4 skilled nursing facilities within an assigned region. Working under the direction of the Regional Director of Clinical Services, this role focuses on improving regulatory compliance, strengthening clinical systems, and proactively identifying residents at risk for clinical decline. The position is divided between two primary responsibilities: * Clinical Compliance Support – Addressing audit findings provided by regional / corporate team members. Working in collaboration with, or in support of, facility nursing administration to fix issues that have been identified and implement sustainable improvement plans. * Resident Wellness \& Readmission Prevention – Providing proactive hydration and nutrition surveillance and intervention; identifying residents at risk for avoidable hospitalization, collaborating with physicians / midlevel providers, and initiating interventions to improve resident outcomes. * Prevention of Skin\-Related Injuries – Proactive identification of skin concerns or ris...
