**Reports to: CFO/Treasurer** **Job Summary:** Under the direction and supervision of the CFO/Treasurer, the Controller shall work closely with CFO/Treasurer and other archdiocese staff members to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial records and reports, lead the day\-to\-day financial/accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will be a self\-starter and strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a proven history in financial leadership within the non\-profit sector. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**: · Oversee day to day financial operations including cash flow, accounting, bill payments/invoicing, budgeting, financial reporting, accounts payable \& receivable, payroll, general ledger, and auditing. · Assist with the preparation and implementation of the annual budget. · Prepare monthly and annual reconciliations, financial statements, and other reports. · Assist in the preparation of the annual audit. · Review and approve all disbursements. · Maintain and improve internal controls. · Maintain the physical records of the archdiocese. · Review and monitor all sources of incom...
