Description

The General Accounting Manager is a key leader within Accounting \& Financial Services (AFS), responsible for the integrity, timeliness, and continuous improvement of general ledger accounting, accounting policies, and related financial processes supporting Servco businesses. This high\-performing, hands\-on leader combines strong technical accounting judgment with people leadership, operational discipline, and a broad enterprise perspective. The Manager helps shape AFS priorities, sets direction for the General Accounting team, develops talent, balances priorities and capacity, and remains close enough to the work to resolve complex issues and step into detailed execution when needed. The role oversees period\-end close, reconciliations, complex accounting analyses, reserves and estimates, fixed asset accounting, selected tax\-related accounting, audit support, internal controls, and accounting policy and process governance.
