### **Assignment Overview** * Shift: Days, 3x12hrs * Hours: 36 hrs/wk * Start Date: Nov 9, 2026 * Length: 13 weeks * Openings: 1 ### **Description** American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a 13\-week acute care assignment requiring an active IL license, EPIC experience, and ACLS/BLS certifications. ### **Details** * Acute care setting in the Pre\-Op \& Phase II Recovery department (PACU) * 60 beds total between Pre\-Op and Phase II cubicles * 1:1 nurse\-to\-patient ratio, with assignment of the next patient once the current one is in surgery * Patient population includes ortho, urology, gyne, general, breast, bariatric, ENT, dental, GI, open heart, neuro, cath lab, EP lab, and pediatric cases * Uses EPIC EMR, including Optime and Radiant modules * 12\-hour day shifts with varying start times (e.g., 7\-1930, 9\-1730, variable 8s) * Call requirement once per week until 11 PM with a 1\-hour call response time * No weekend or holiday requirements at this time * Floating required within the Pre\-Op/Phase II units (3 total) * Charge nurse present on each shift and may take an assignment * Nurse aides are present on the unit ### **Requirements** * Active IL RN license required (or confi...
