Description: POSITION SUMMARY The individual in this role supports the Packaging Supervisor in preparing sales order shipments and collaborates with the Outbound team to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Collaborates with various departments to ensure timely fulfillment of customer order deadlines. * Analyzes production schedules and estimates the required worker hours for completing job assignments. * Creates detailed schedule timelines to ensure adherence to customer shipment dates and equipment specifications. * Develops comprehensive process plans, including resource allocation, equipment utilization, and floor space considerations for each customer order. * Plans the flow of materials within the department and designs the physical layout of machines based on work orders. * Establishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. * Recommends measures to enhance production methods, improve equipment performance, and enhance product quality. * Proposes changes in working conditions and equipment usage to enhance the efficiency of the shop, department, or work crew. * Coordinates manpower requirements by adjusting personne...
