### **Job Summary** Supports the Materials Management Department directly within the Operating Room (“OR”) environment. This is a critical role in managing the daily operations of materials in all OR areas, including (but not limited to): purchasing, receipt and distribution of special order items, inventory levels, picking and stocking of OR PAR shelves, coordinating with vendors, promoting physician and staff satisfaction, and providing reporting and analytics for cost saving initiatives. ### **Job Duties and Responsibilities** To provide the right product, at the right time, and at the best price so that the Surgery areas can perform excellent patient care at a reasonable cost. * Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines of Materials Management and Surgical Services. * Inventory Management + Par Level Setup for all Surgery department areas including Specialty carts. + Daily requisitioning, picking, and stocking of all PAR locations. + Maintain organized and optimized PAR levels using LEAN and JIT concepts. + Run reports in the MMIS to analyze supply movement and cost variances. + Run reports in Epic to review upcoming procedures and evaluate inventory levels to ...
