### **Software Developer** DEPARTMENT: Operations \- Software REPORTS TO: Software Engineering Manager DIRECT REPORTS: None STATUS: Non\-Exempt, Full\-Time LOCATION: Holland Patent, NY, Hybrid Position PAY RANGE: $32\.36 \- $53\.37 per hour **ROLE OVERVIEW** The Software Developer is responsible for using their knowledge of programming languages to design and create new software. Some of the duties include meeting with users to determine their software needs (requirements gathering), coding and testing software to ensure performance and functionality and managing APIs between system. **ROLE CAPABILITIES** **Software Development \& Maintenance** * Designs and builds software solutions based on defined requirements * Maintains and improves existing software across multiple functionality areas * Produces efficient code that supports expected functionality and performance * Manages APIs and integrations between systems * Corrects defects and implements fixes that restore expected behavior **Software Collaboration** * Collaborates with management, departments, and customers to identify requirements and specifications * Translates user needs into development tasks and technical specifica...
