(CTI) is hiring a Tier 3 SOC Analyst for the Government of the District of Columbia, Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO). You will be the advanced escalation point for the Security Operations Center (SOC) and provide technical oversight to a team of SOC analysts who monitor, detect, analyze, remediate, and report on cybersecurity events and incidents affecting the District's technology infrastructure. **What You Will Do** * Analyze escalated events from Tier 2 analysts, separate real threats from benign activity, and escalate confirmed incidents to the Incident Response Lead * Perform in\-depth analysis and trending/correlation of large data sets (logs, event data, alerts) from network devices and applications, and make clear recommendations for fast remediation * Proactively hunt through log, network, and system data to find undetected threats * Support security tool tunin...
