Description

RK\&K is hiring an Engineer to our Construction Management team in Tampa or Lakeland, Florida. This position will work within our Construction Management group under the direction of an RK\&K Senior Project Engineer on an active $270M roadway reconstruction project in Polk and Pasco Counties. **Essential Functions:** Field Support and Observation * Assist with on\-site inspection of construction activities to verify compliance with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and safety requirements. * Document daily construction activities, quantities, and conditions in inspection reports. Project Documentation * Maintain organized project records, including submittals, RFIs, correspondence, meeting minutes, and change order logs. * Support preparation of status reports, schedules, and cost tracking updates. Coordination and Communication * Participate in project meetings with contractors, engineers, and agency representatives. * Communicate observations and issues clearly to senior staff for resolution.
