**Job Description:** Shift: First Shift Under the direction of the Senior Instructor of Residence Life, the Residence Hall Coordinator plays a key role in developing and maintaining a residential community that supports students' social, personal and intellectual growth. This position is responsible for fostering a positive, inclusive living environment that promotes student success, personal development and meaningful engagement within the residential community. The Residence Hall Coordinator is an academic\-year position, with contract dates typically running from late August through late May. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a few Saturdays required throughout the year. **Essential Duties \& Responsibilities:** * Advise, counsel, and establish rapport with students to support them in adjusting to residence hall living in particular and boarding school life in general. Assist students in developing healthy relationships with their roommate and the residence hall community.
