The Port Authority’s airports, Ports, ferries, tunnels, bridges, bus terminals and rail transportation systems are vital transportation links in the region. At the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, we are seeking a motivated Staff Services Structural Engineer, to join our Structural Engineering unit, a team positioned within the Engineering/Architecture Design Division, located at 4WTC. Reporting to a Principal Structural Engineer and working closely with the Chief Structural Engineer, the successful candidate will provide Structural Engineering Design Services for the Authority’s wide range of transportation assets including our bridges and buildings, airports, tunnels, ports, ferries, and bus terminal facilities. The structural design group provides complete engineering design services and prepares preliminary and final contract documents for all phases of a project, from conceptual and final design, through construction.
