UTHealth Houston’s John S. Dunn Behavioral Sciences Center, the largest academic psychiatric hospital in the country, is hiring a Staff Nurse II to join the night shift team on the Dunn Center Building 3C Unit. The 3C Unit is a General Adult Psychiatric Unit where adult males and females are seen. The key responsibilities for this role are direct psychiatric patient care, medication management, assessment and documentation, therapeutic communication/de\-escalation, management of aggressive behavior, blood draws, safety monitoring, and interdisciplinary teamwork. The ideal candidate will have psych experience, be able to draw blood, and can manage patient aggression.**Schedule:** Night Shift, 7pm\-7am.
