**Sourcing Coordinator** ======================== **Company:** Lopez Dorada Foods **Department:** Supply Chain / Procurement **Reports To:** Sourcing / Procurement Leadership **Position Summary** -------------------- The **Sourcing Coordinator** supports day\-to\-day purchasing and sourcing activities by processing purchase orders, monitoring inventory needs, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting plant and operational requirements. This role requires strong organization, follow\-up, and the ability to respond quickly to changing business needs. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Issue purchase orders and track orders through delivery. * Expedite orders to support urgent operational needs. * Follow up with suppliers on order status, lead times, and delivery dates. * Resolve backorders, delivery issues, shortages, and order discrepancies. * Monitor inventory levels for recurring non\-stock and frequently purchased items. * Review stockout reports and initiate reorders to help prevent shortages. * Identify slow\-moving or excess inventory to help reduce unnecessary carrying costs. * Source products and supplies for routine and one\-time purchasing requests. * Ob...
