**OVERVIEW:** Assist the Director of Nursing and Associate Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day\-to\-day functions of the Nursing Department. Maintains quality clinical care for residents/patients in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the Facility. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Supervises the clinical care planning and delivery processes to ensure the coordination of quality patient care. Reviews and updates the care plan accordingly * Assesses residents/clients upon admission and periodically as conditions change * Performs rounds to evaluate patient condition * Provides or assists with the delivery of direct patient care when indicated, including activities of daily living, meal assistance, medication and treatment administration, and leisure activities when indicated * Obtains and implements Physician Orders, checking for accuracy and completeness * Communicates between shifts regarding changes in resident/patient conditions * Ensures a safe and secure environment for patients/residents, staff and visitors * Provides clinical assessment to MD/NPs on call for quality outcomes deliver...
