**PURPOSE:** * Provides comprehensive financial, cost accounting, and analytical support for the client, Corsicana, TX chemical manufacturing plant. * Partners with the Plant Controller and plant leadership to deliver accurate financial reporting, support operational decision\-making, ensure compliance with policies, and drive cost efficiency. * This position will report to the Plant Controller onsite at the plant. **SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES:** * **Financial Analysis \& Reporting** * Track and review all manufacturing spending; propose reclassification entries or accruals as necessary and note anomalies for management * Perform financial and manufacturing analysis including variance analysis, forecasting, and reporting. * Provide COGS forecasting including standard cost, PPV, and manufacturing variances. * Investigate and explain financial variances. * Prepare plant reports including explanations of variances * Liaise with internal/external auditors for quarterly and annual audits * **Inventory \& Cost Accounting** * Manage inventory accuracy, reconciliations, and financial impact analysis. * Perform cost runs and validate product costing working closely with Engineering * Analyze pro...
