Responsibilities: The Summer Analyst will support the Related Midwest Affordable team be involved in all aspects of affordable real estate acquisitions and development including financial analysis and modeling, site acquisition, due diligence, legal document review and negotiation, and community and resident engagement. The Associate will prepare detailed financial analyses and models including those for transaction underwriting and will provide key takeaways to business units.* Perform financial underwriting analysis and due diligence for new affordable acquisition investment opportunities * Assist with tax credit applications for the City of Chicago and/or IHDA * Track rehab progress on ongoing process * Conduct site visits and assist with asset management of existing portfolio * Evaluate operations of properties in our portfolio to provide recommended avenues for improvement **Compensation:** The hourly rate for this position is $45 per hour Qualifications: Related’s Summer Analyst Program aims to train and evaluate the next generation of leaders.
