Position Summary The Project Engineer will focus on diesel engine and generator set system and component design and test, while supporting these projects from the technical proposal stage through commissioning in the customer facility. This position reports to Fairbanks Morse’s Senior Engineering Manager and works closely with engineering, quality, program management, purchasing, operations, and external customers. Principle Duties and Responsibilities * Be the primary technical interface with the customer. * Understand the contract scope of engineering work to track, prioritize, coordinate, and execute engineering deliverables. * Lead the development, release, and maintenance of product \& project documents (system schematics, bills of materials, test procedures, reports, etc.). * Justify, document, and communicate engineering\-based decisions to meet project goals and objectives. * Complete engineering releases and changes through the PDM system, including providing inputs and guidance to Design/Drafting group to complete required drawings. * Meet with internal and external customers and suppliers to review contract status, review design \& test documents, and resolve contract sp...
