Our organization is in need of a Certified Medical Assistant with at least 12 months of ongoing experience in a medical setting. The successful candidate will be comfortable handling administrative tasks, appointments and taking patients' vital signs. We're looking for someone who combines medical knowledge with exceptional people skills, and who can build strong relationships with both patients and staff. JOB DETAILS: This is a permanent part\-time position with flexible hours **Responsibilities:** * Prepare patients for exams and treatments by taking patient histories and vital signs * Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments for your patient including preparation and maintenance of supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization. * Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy needs * Assist physicians in applying wound care dressings and bandages * Screen incoming calls for referral to physicians and practitioners * Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, including obtaining vital signs, recording medical histories, reviewing medications, and allergy information * Assist provider during exams, minor procedures, wound care, and diagn...
