**POSITION:** Inspector/Locator **REPORTS TO:** Civil Engineer **JOB OBJECTIVE:** To perform inspections for the Town of Easton and Easton Utilities’ projects. This is a full\-time, non\-exempt position with on\-call requirements. **JOB REQUIREMENTS:** * Knowledge of Maryland’s utility locating legislative laws and all the Easton Utilities utility distribution systems. * Must have construction experience in all related departments. * Must have project inspection experience. * Public relations, strong verbal and written communication skills also required. * Certified Locator within 12 months of hire. * Certified Inspector within 24 months of hire. * Must have a valid driver’s license. * Completion of OSHA 30 hr General Industry and Construction Courses **EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:** Must have high school diploma or equivalent **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** * Must have the physical capabilities to be actively involved in construction projects in all weather conditions. * Must wear proper PPE at all times **CORE VALUES OF EASTON UTILITIES:** * INTEGRITY –Operating with uncompromised values * COMMITMENT – Unwavering dedication to our customers, our employees, our community, and our environmen...
