DOTD is seeking an experienced engineer to serve as the **Assistant to the Project Engineer** expert while supervising lower\-level Engineers or Engineering Technicians. This position supports transportation projects and programs through construction project delivery, field engineering, construction documentation, contractor coordination, and review of work performed in accordance with DOTD standards and specifications. This role plays a critical part in advancing DOTD’s mission by supporting the development, delivery, maintenance, or improvement of transportation infrastructure by applying engineering principles, conducting technical analysis, coordinating projects, and conducting compliance\-related reviews.
