**JOB TITLE:** Clinical Research Paramedic (CRP) **REPORTS TO:** Manager, Safety Operations; Director, Safety Operations **DIRECT REPORTS:** Not Applicable **POSITION SUMMARY:** The Clinical Research Paramedic is responsible for ensuring the well\-being of study volunteers and the performance of clinical operations as they pertain to a protocol. The Clinical Research Paramedic title is an internal designation and the position could include Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) trained in Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Monitor study volunteer health and safety by completing adverse event assessments * Oversee the monitoring of cardiac telemetry and continuous pulse oximetry * Administer concomitant medications to volunteers as allowed per protocol and approved by an Investigator * Administer study drug according to study protocol guidelines * Intravenous (IV) catheter placement * Perform medical procedures, including but not limited to vital signs, electrocardiograms, phlebotomy, urine collection, etc. * Assist with preparing and serving meals to volunteers * Assist in oversight of Nurse’s Station and other clinic areas, as delegated...
