SUMMARY PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION: To coordinate the intake admissions, insurance precertification and reviews of treatment. To develop strategies that result in a positive community relationships and image that assists the facility in meeting its goals. To work closely with the Director of Business Development and Admissions Manager to enhance the goals of the hospital. EDUCATION: Nursing License in the state of Ohio required. SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of or experience in behavioral health and chemical dependency fields. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to workload demands. Provide a positive and professional presentation to build rapport quickly with referral sources and program staff. Must have good communication and organizational skills. Clinical experience sufficient to perform required assessment services. PRIOR EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3\-5 years of experience in the behavioral health/Detox field or hospital setting preferred.
