SCOPE OF THE POSITION The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day\-to\-day accounting operations of the organization and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role manages key accounting functions, supports financial controls and compliance activities, develops accounting staff, and serves as a strategic partner to the Director of Accounting in maintaining sound financial management practices. RESPONSIBILITIES * Manages monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting * Prepares and reviews financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules * Analyzes financial results and provides recommendations to support business decisions * Evaluates profitability, capital expenditures, and budget performance to support operational and strategic decision\-making * Assists with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities * Prepares and reconciles monthly work in progress (WIP) schedules * Maintains fixed asset records and depreciation schedules * Oversees general accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and ...
