Overview: The Medical Assistant Uncertified Registered I supports dermatology and/or plastic surgery clinicians and helps ensure an efficient, patient\-centered clinical experience. Responsibilities include greeting and rooming patients, obtaining and documenting intake information, communicating updates to the clinician, and medical scribing during visits. The Medical Assistant also prepares for and assists with in\-office procedures. The Medical Assistant is not certified but may be registered. Responsibilities: * Clean and stock exam rooms, ensuring necessary supplies and instruments are ready. * Greet and room patients, collect and document vital signs, patient history, and reason for visit. * Review medication list and ensure a preferred pharmacy is captured to support e\-prescribing workflow. * Complete MIPS documentation requirements. * Assist with scribing and body area documentation in order to produce preliminary encounter visit notes. * Assist with setting up procedural trays and maintaining sterile fields during minor in\-office surgeries or treatments. * Prepare patients for common dermatological procedures, such as biopsies (shave, punch) and phototherapy. * Assist Cl...
