This position is responsible for coordinating international and domestic freight transportation activities supporting outbound shipments from the Dallas / Grand Prairie Distribution Center. Responsibilities include export documentation, air and ocean freight coordination, hazardous materials shipment processing, customer\-specific shipping requirements, carrier coordination, transportation compliance activities, and transportation issue resolution. This position serves as the primary subject matter expert for international transportation operations and hazardous materials shipping requirements. The Senior Transportation Coordinator is the primary owner of international transportation activities for the facility and is responsible for managing the facility's most complex transportation activities including international shipments, dangerous goods shipments, export documentation, OEM customer requirements, and customer specific transportation programs.
