**Senior Capital Asset Accountant (12 Week Contract, Hybrid)** **Location:** Red Wing, MN (hybrid, onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays) **Type:** Contract, 12 weeks Our client, a well\-known Minnesota manufacturer and retailer, is looking for a Senior Capital Asset Accountant to join their finance team for a 12 week contract while they recruit for a full\-time hire. This is a great fit if you enjoy stepping in, getting oriented quickly, and making a real difference from the first week. **What you will do** You will take on fixed asset and capital accounting work with limited ramp\-up time. Day to day, that includes: * Managing CIP and project closeout * Making capitalization versus expense determinations * Processing asset additions, transfers, and disposals * Handling depreciation, month\-end close, and reconciliations * Preparing capital expenditure reporting * Partnering with project managers and FP\&A on project tracking, forecasting, and invoice and PO completeness * Supporting compliance with the capital policy and approval process **What we are looking for** * 5 to 7 years of public or corporate accounting experience, including month\-end close * Hands\-on fixed asset and capital...
