Job Summary: The Medical Assistant plays a key role in supporting daily clinical operations at each of Care New England’s primary care and specialty practices by delivering high\-quality, patient\-centered care. Reporting to a practice leader and working under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers, this position is responsible for performing a range of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow and effective care delivery. The Medical Assistant fosters a compassionate, well\-organized, and efficient environment that enhances the experience for both patients and healthcare teams. Duties \& Responsibilities: * Performs rooming procedures, including patient identification, vital signs, medication reconciliation, history intake, and documentation in EPIC. * Assists with procedures such as EKGs, immunizations, wound care, specimen collection, and minor office interventions; prepares instruments and ensures compliance with time\-out protocols.
