Description: **SUMMARY:** The role of the Field Service Specialist is specific to specimen collection and related field services provided by Luxor Scientific. Responsibilities include managing specimen collection supplies; assembling and entering test requisition data into the laboratory information system; performing phlebotomy and collecting blood specimens from patients; assisting patients and/or the Client’s staff with the specimen collection process; properly labeling, processing, preparing, and shipping specimens to the laboratory for testing; and printing and delivering test results to the Client, as applicable to the services provided by Luxor. **By Federal Regulation, Specialist MAY NOT** perform other tasks without PRIOR approval by his or her manager. The Specialist must be capable of efficiently collecting and processing specimens in accordance with established procedures and applicable requirements. Workload will vary, and the Specialist must be able to manage multiple specimens and related documentation at various stages of completion.
