POSITION SUMMARY Performs a variety of professional level accounting duties involved in preparing, maintaining, analyzing, verifying, and reconciling complex financial transactions, statements, records, and reports; maintains the accuracy of the Properties ledgers financial systems; assists in the preparation and reconciliation of assigned reports, year\-end tax, and year end closing. This position will report to the Controller. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES In addition to all components of the above position summary the following “Essential Duties and Responsibilities” are essential to successful performance in this position * Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) and corporate policies and procedures. * Compiles, calculates, and balances accounting information for a specific set of accounts from various sources and prepares account entries i.e. Daily, Monthly and Yearly Journal Entries. * Prepares and posts receipts, journals, Charge batches, AP and reports ensuring transactions are properly and accurately recorded in a timely manner but not limited to and including other responsibilities as required by C...
