Description

The Formwork Engineer supports projects by preparing structural formwork calculations, drafting detailed structural concrete and formwork drawings and coordinating closely with project teams to ensure design accuracy, safety, and cost efficiency. This role helps identify and resolve technical issues, manages document control, and ensures timely delivery of up\-to\-date drawings and information to field teams. **Primary Responsibilities** * Participate in the planning phase of projects to incorporate the most efficient, safe, and economical formwork systems into the design * Prepare structural formwork calculations * Perform structural quality control walks to ensure installed design meets criteria * Prepare concrete structure and formwork drawings by incorporating information from project drawings, bulletins, sketches, RFIs, and other trade shop drawings, and coordinate submittals with customers * Review and analyze project documents to identify conflicts, missing information, and specification gaps; suggest solutions to improve productivity and cost efficiency * Coordinate with field supervisors to plan and oversee material and equipment needs, including ordering, inventory contro...
