We're looking for a dependable, detail\-oriented Accounting Manager to run the day\-to\-day finances of our business. **What You'll Do** * Manage full\-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. * Process weekly or biweekly payroll accurately and on time, including hourly drivers and staff. * Prepare, print, and track vendor checks and payments. * Invoice customers, record payments, and follow up on past\-due accounts. * Reconcile bank and credit card accounts every month. * Prepare monthly financial reports (P\&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for the owner. * Handle payroll tax filings, W\-2s, and 1099s, and work with our outside CPA at year end. * Keep records organized for audits, loans, and DBE compliance. **What We're Looking For** * 3\+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. * Strong, hands\-on QuickBooks experience (Desktop or Online). * Payroll processing experience, including tax withholding and filings. * Accuracy, organization, and the ability to keep financial information confidential. * Comfort working on your own and managing deadlines. * Construction, trucking, or small business experience is a p...
