**Roadway Design Engineer** **Location:** Detroit, MI or Lansing, MI Regular in office work required **Employment Type:** Full\-time **Join Our Visionary Team** As a **Senior Roadway Design Engineer**, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects throughout Michigan. You will contribute to major roadway and freeway projects, provide technical leadership, and help guide design staff through project development and delivery. **What You’ll Do** * Lead roadway design tasks for transportation projects, including roadway geometry, grading, maintenance of traffic, signing and pavement markings, drainage coordination, and related roadway improvements. * Prepare and review engineering drawings, design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, and other project deliverables. * Develop project work plans and coordinate roadway design activities with other engineering disciplines. * Lead and mentor engineers and design staff, providing technical direction and reviewing work for quality and accuracy. * Participate in design reviews and develop practical solutions to complex roadway design and constructability issues. * Coordinate ...
