**Division/Location:** Business Office, 110 Elwood Davis Road, Liverpool, NY **DUTIES**: * Serve as the chief accountant for the OCM BOCES with direct responsibility for cash receipts, deposits, disbursements, journal entries, and cash controls for all funds (General, Special Aid, Capital, Trust and Agency, and Other Funds), ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper authorization of all financial transactions. * Accountant/Treasurer for the Cooperative Health Insurance Fund of CNY, New York School and Municipal Energy Consortium (NYSMEC), and Onondaga\-Cortland\-Madison Workers’ Compensation Consortium. * Primarily responsible for all BOCES bank accounts, including establishing, maintaining, monitoring, and reconciling accounts to the general ledger in accordance with Board policy, State regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). * Post and maintain journal entries to the general ledger; verify accuracy of entries, make necessary adjustments, and reconcile subsidiary ledgers and bank statements to ensure balanced and accurate financial records. * Review a variety of complex financial documents related to receipts, expenditures, transfers, and adjustments; class...
