Snohomish County Facilities is seeking a dedicated and skilled Detention Lead Maintenance Technician to work alongside our Detention Supervisor. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure are properly maintained to meet the needs of our secure, 24/7 fast\-paced Corrections Buildings. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, creative problem\-solving abilities, advanced troubleshooting techniques and leadership skills to guide the maintenance team while upholding high standards of safety, communication, and professionalism. This position will assist the Supervisor to ensure the day to day maintenance tasks and requests are performed effectively and efficiently. BASIC FUNCTION Under direction, to lead, oversee and participate in the more complex and difficult work of staff responsible for maintenance, repair and construction of County properties that may include detention facilities that operate on a 24 hour basis. *Job offers are contingent on successful completion of employment verification and background checks.
