Hendrick Automotive Group \- HIC Location: 6030 East Independence Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina 28212 Position Summary: The Configuration Center Technician is the operational backbone of the Hendrick Automotive Group IT Configuration Center. This role is responsible for the daily physical and logistical functions that keep the center running: receiving and staging incoming equipment, maintaining warehouse organization, managing asset inventory, operating material\-handling equipment, coordinating disposal of end\-of\-life assets, and supporting device imaging workflows. The work is hands\-on, physical, and time\-sensitive — and it directly enables the organization's ability to deploy technology to 246\+ locations on schedule. This role works in close coordination with the IT Purchasing team and the Configuration Center's technical staff. While the focus is on operational execution rather than technical configuration, the Configuration Center Technician is expected to understand the flow of equipment through the center well enough to identify and flag process gaps, inventory discrepancies, and logistics issues before they affect deployments.
