Description: Reports to – Receiving Manager Job Summary: Reporting to the Receiving Manager, this position is responsible for all activities relating to receiving operations. Job Duties: * Ensure a smooth and consistent operation so material and supplies are stored and slotted in an efficient manner. * Help to oversee the daily routines of their assigned crew members * Help in the receiving skill development of all crew members * Work with Inbound/Inventory Manager to control inventory and work with staff to minimize material ‘can’t finds’ and errors * Ensure all inbound shipments are processed for customer delivery and or storage. * Provide motivating work environment for staff with high levels of performance and standards being the norm * Help in the communication of policies to ensure compliance and consistently administer corrective action as necessary * Foster communication and teamwork among staff to ensure accomplishment of operational goals. * Accepts responsibility for company projects that may be indirectly related to his/her area of responsibility * Works with distribution center team members in order to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and process...
