Working under the direction of the Controller, this individual helps keep the company’s financial records accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in accounting, is detail\-oriented, and is eager to learn in a growing, construction\-focused business. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts * Assist with month\-end and year\-end closing processes * Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules * Perform bank and credit card reconciliations * Support payroll processing and related entries, including job cost allocation * Assist with progress billing, retainage tracking, and certified payroll reports as needed * Assist with customer invoicing and payment application * Own collection follow\-up on past\-due customer accounts through regular calls, emails, and statements * Help ensure accuracy of fin...
