Description

The Pharmacist is responsible for the day\-to\-day operations of a pharmacy. The ideal candidate for this position will have advanced training in pharmacology and medicine, and a demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to customers. A Pharmacist is expected to utilize their knowledge of pharmaceuticals in order to make decisions about which medications to recommend, and the ability to make quick decisions about these issues. Responsibilities: * Compile new prescriptions into computer system. * Manage pharmacy staff including hiring, training, leading, coaching, and evaluating. * Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical products. * Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment. * Direct pharmacy staff in preparation of prescriptions. * Inform physician about adverse drug reactions and patient concerns about drug therapy. * Counsel patients about medications and provide advice about prescription medications. * Monitor medication usage.
