**Job Summary** The Wausau School District is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage health related barriers to learning, and promote health and safety for our students. The school nurse promotes the physical, mental, emotional and social well\-being of students to enhance student learning and success. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: ● Must have the knowledge and ability to apply nursing standards and skills while working within the school setting ● Must use ethical and evidence\-based practice ● Must be self\-directed and be able to work independently ● Must possess strong, collaborative interpersonal skills ● Must be able to instruct, delegate to, supervise and confer with health aides and others providing health services to students ● Must be able to perform specialized procedures and medication administration under the direction of the Medical Advisor and in collaboration with the Wisconsin DPI Nursing Consultant ● Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality as a representative of the Wausau School District ● Must have basic computer skills the applications such as Word, Excel, Google Docs ● Attend workshops and in\-services to maintain professional competencies ● Maintain certifica...
