**Welcome to the Department of Education \& Early Development!** **This position is open to Alaskan Residents only.** **Please check out the** residency definition **to determine if you qualify.** **This position is currently located in Juneau. The position may be in Anchorage or Juneau, depending upon the location of the most qualified candidate.** **We’d be delighted to have you join our team.** **What You Will Be Doing:** The incumbent will work both independently and as part of a team to oversee processing of servicing and capital reimbursable servicing agreements (RSAs), creating structure in the state accounting system (IRIS), completing approvals in IRIS, treasury receipts, drawing federal funds, processing adjusting journal entries (AJEs) and performing credit card account administration. The incumbent will also be responsible for producing reports in the Alaska Data Enterprise Reporting system (ALDER), researching transaction information and serving as a back\-up to other Accounting Technicians to ensure adequate cross training exists across our small team. **Mission and Culture:** DEED’s mission is to provide an excellent education for every student every day.
